The results from international competitions, including the last one from Vienna, when we fought for the title of champion with our slam Tramín until the last moment, certainly deserve a celebration. And when it comes to celebrating, then in a big way. We combined our successful wines with the cuisine of the best Slovak chef Marián Filo and together we presented this result to the journalist community. This wonderful evening, held in a pleasant atmosphere, took place in the premises of the Afrodita restaurant located in the mansion in Čereňany. A toast in the form of an iced Frankovka blue from the year 2009 came in handy and the beautiful evening could begin. During it, we convinced the present guests several times that the wines from Vienna really deserved the medals and, in combination with the chef's specialties, disproved the opinion that sweet wines are only suitable for desserts and cheeses. Among the enchanting combinations of food and wine, I would like to mention the roe deer doll in puff pastry, whose wine partner was first the dry Cabernet Sauvignon awarded gold from Vienna, and then the Danube, a straw wine from the year 2009. The presentation stretched into the late evening hours, but to our great joy, the wines did not cease to enchant the guests, just as the brilliant dishes of Marián Fil did not disappoint, to whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts for our mutual cooperation.
