Slovakia vs. The World

The third Master Wine Tasting Slovakia vs. World. Our Veltliner Grüner 46 straw became the best rated wine of the third Master Wine Tasting Slovakia vs. world, which took place in Bratislava's Kempinski River Park hotel. This amazing wine won the category of naturally sweet wines and received 93.5 points from the nine-member jury - the highest of all evaluated wines of the entire tasting.

A jury consisting of tasters from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany and France evaluated the wines in six categories, in each of which half of the wines were from Slovakia and the other half was a selection of wines from the rest of the world - a total of 11 countries. A total of 43 competition samples were evaluated.

The wines competed in six categories, with the first three places in each being announced and the overall winner being the highest rated wine. We are very pleased that our Veltlín has become it. Although it is a very young wine, it is headed in the footsteps of our most famous Tramín.
